About Phoenix Pathways Recovery Clinic
At Phoenix Pathways Recovery Clinic, we are committed to providing high-quality, professional care tailored to your needs. We offer appointments either in our welcoming clinic setting or, where appropriate, in the comfort of your own home (home visits may incur a surcharge). Our focus is on delivering compassionate, specialist care that supports comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
We specialise in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of lymphoedema and lipoedema, as well as the management of complex swelling associated with advanced illness and heart failure. We are experienced in supporting individuals in the palliative stage of their illness, with care plans centred on symptom relief, comfort, and patient priorities. We also have a specialist interest in Post procedure MLD to help support the natural healing process while you are in the recovery phase and beyond.
Clinical Expertise
All care is delivered by our Clinic Specialist Nurse, Lucy, who has over nine years’ experience as a Lymphoedema Clinical Nurse Specialist within the NHS. She is qualified in Fill and Flush Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) through the Lymphoedema Training Academy and is an active member of the British Lymphology Society. This ensures care is evidence-informed, safe, and aligned with current best practice.
Lymphoedema, Lipoedema, and Complex Swelling Care
We provide comprehensive services for individuals living with lymphoedema and lipoedema, from initial assessment and diagnosis through to long-term management. We also support patients with heart failure and those receiving palliative care who experience distressing or uncomfortable swelling, adapting treatment to individual tolerance, goals, and overall health status.
Care may include manual lymphatic drainage, compression advice, education, and practical strategies to help reduce symptoms, minimise complications, and improve day-to-day comfort and function.
Specialist Scar Therapy Services
In addition to lymphatic care, we offer specialist Scar Therapy Services designed to improve comfort, reduce post-surgical side effects, and enhance scar appearance and mobility—regardless of scar age. We have particular experience in oncology-related scars, alongside treatment for:
- Post-operative scars
- Keloid scars
- Caesarean section scars
- Aesthetic surgery scars
- Capsular contracture
Our approach aims to improve range of movement, reduce pain and swelling, and support confidence and body awareness.
Our Approach
Whatever your needs or stage of illness, we are committed to providing personalised, compassionate, evidence-informed care. We work collaboratively with each individual to support comfort, recovery, wellbeing, and confidence, ensuring care is respectful, realistic, and aligned with what matters most to you.
